Nautilus Ellipticals Review

Nautilus is well known for its BowFlex machines, but their products also include Nautilus and Schwinn elliptical trainers, Schwinn indoor bikes, and treadmills. They have a selection of cardiovascular equipments to choose from. They have also been included in many best buy categories in most fitness magazines. Their prices are a bit on the high end, around the $2000 mark, but you can be assured of the quality and innovation their equipments provide.

Nautilus ellipticals actually come in 4 brands, namely:

  •  Nautilus EllipticalNautilus
  •  Schwinn
  •  Trimline,
  • Stairmaster

 Pros and Cons

The Nautilus NE 2000 and NE 3000 are their home elliptical entries which are designed specifically for residential use. They include a full ten year warranty on both machines. Their common denominator includes a rotating footpad which helps you imitate the motions of walking, jogging, sprinting or running without the stress on your body. They both also have a wireless heart rate system. They have a unique console layout, backed by 7 different programs and 16 resistance levels for a maximum workout experience.

Nautilus also boasts of Nautilus E916 and the Nautilus MyStride on their commercial fitness equipments entries. They are priced at below the $6000 mark. They may be quite pricey for the individual buyer, but are actually a bargain for fitness clubs considering the all real quality and performance they provide. Mystride is a trademarked technology which allows the users to extend the stride level for up to a maximum of 30”!

This is a wonderful and unique innovation in the elliptical trainers category, that of course, no other company provides. The problem is that Nautilus is relatively not well known in the elliptical trainer category, unlike its more popular competitors like Life Fitness and Precor – which are also great fitness equipments companies. Their competitors are also able to provide better prices, which are the benefits of being able to produce and sell more to the public. Still, Nautilus elliptical trainers are five stars in the elliptical trainers category.

If you have the means and the genuine desire to loose weight, we highly recommend that you go with Nautilus elliptical trainers. With their performance, innovation and quality, you can never go wrong. Their machine is well constructed and they have excellent warranty and service. Sadly, Nautilus as of lately had been having some managerial and financial problems as their Chief Executive Officer had been recently let go of the company; we only hope that they re able to soon find a good replacement to save the company’s direction and product line.
