  • Front drive 9.0- In their mid to upper class level of equipment is front drive 9.0. It has an 18” stride, great for a total body workout, and it also has heart rate sensors for keeping track of your heart rate while training, it is located conveniently on its handgrips.
  • Front drive 9.5- Now if you are looking for the whole nine yards, the don of their elliptical class, then we suggest you go for the front drive 9.5. It comes with a wireless heart rate sensor and contrary to other household trainers which has an average of six resistance levels, this machine has sixteen!

You may think that New Balance is “new” to the fitness industry, though in reality, they have been in the sporting business for a very long time now. They are popularly known for selling shoes and clothing, but have now ventured into the more “fitting” world of fitness technology.

 And if they are known for making quality foot wear and apparel, you can definitely expect that same quality in their new venture in indoor bikes and elliptical cross trainers. Their prices are very competitive in the market, mostly due to the fact that they are able to get great quality with great value equipments through their manufacturers in China and Taiwan.

 Don’t be deceive though, although their machines are manufactured in Asia, they are licensed through Fitness Quest in Canton, Ohio since 2003 – so you can definitely expect good quality inspected and controlled elliptical equipments.
