The Proform 20.0 CrossTrainer is filled with good features, sold at an affordable price and with some surprises. The surprise is the personal trainer program and two video games. The personal trainer program is nice to have; it actually talks back to you as you exercise to keep you within the programs metrics. The video games, it’s more of a personal thing, either you like it or hate it.
If you look at these bells and whistles, and you are really looking for a good elliptical trainer, these are not the features that will make you sign a check. Is this elliptical trainer any good, or will it break every week of the year?

The Proform 20.0 CrossTrainer looks like it was built for someone who likes to play more than taking its fitness seriously. It has the GameFit Interactive Fitness Games, which can be attractive if you like them and that will motivate you to workout. The games are not really the best there is, Calorie Invaders and Fatblocker, but can be entertaining. But, why not to play good games with a games console and leave the elliptical for serious workout time?
One thing that is good is the Interactive Audio CrossTrainer, it is like having a personal trainer to guide you through your workout sessions and keep in track with your stats for better results. At first it is good and works out fine, but it can also be annoying after a few weeks. If you like to drive with your GPS on, then we guess you will also like this feature.
Everything else is standard for the price range, and has good quality. If this elliptical trainer was to be stripped off the two previously mentioned features it would just like another great Proform elliptical. Overall it is all about the games and the personal trainer program, to buy this elliptical is much of a personal choice either you like it or not.
